‘A warm welcome’ to Erikson
A new academic year gets underway with more than 100 future child development, social work, and early education leaders joining our student body.
This fall, Erikson Institute welcomed 111 new students, some of whom are embarking on new career paths and others who are continuing their professional journeys in their chosen field.
The 2017-18 academic year kicked off with an orientation for our incoming students, including 98 pursuing master’s degrees in child development, early childhood education, and social work; 11 pursuing graduate certificates; and four pursuing their PhD in child development.
“I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the new students joining us,” says Geoffrey A. Nagle, PhD, president and chief executive officer of Erikson. “Throughout their time at Erikson, these students will work closely with one another and our expert faculty and staff, and I look forward to seeing them develop as leaders who will serve the needs of children and families.”
